Recycling is a Lie

For my Illustration class, we were tasked with creating a magazine cover and spread design without using any digital modification (aka no Photoshop allowed!) using an article of our choosing. “The Story You’ve Been Told About Recycling is a Lie” by Alexander Clapp is a New York Times article that discusses the impact the United States and other Western countries has had on Eastern countries under the guise of “recycling:” which really involved dumping trash and harming ecosystems and human life in those countries. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/14/opinion/trash-recycling-global-waste-trade.html
